Birth | Stella

Labor/delivery has quickly become my favorite thing to photograph!  Weddings are right behind it!  The pure, raw emotion of bringing another life into this world is absolutely amazing.  I have been blessed to capture three deliveries now, and I really hope I am able to do more!  It is something that has become really important to me.  To witness the love shared between everyone is so sweet.  Each delivery has been completely different, and that's what makes it even more special.  Watching the doctor and nurses care for the mother and baby is so awesome as well!  They really go above and beyond.

Last September I was able to be in the hospital room when our best friends gave birth to their second baby girl!  Ashton, the mother, delivered her daughter like a champ. I'll stop talking because I think the pictures speak for themselves!

Maternity | Cameron & Tyla

Last week I had the honor of photographing one of my best friends maternity sessions.  Our due dates are actually two weeks apart!  Crazy how God works.  I had so much fun capturing these moments for them!  She is absolutely beautiful but even more gorgeous as a soon to be mama, & her husband, Cameron, looked handsome as always!  I will be sharing some more pictures later of where her & I had the exact same idea for our maternity pictures - we didn't even discuss each with each other before hand either!  That's for another post though ;)

Engagement | Nathan & Kaitlin

A few weeks ago I met this sweet couple, Nathan & Kaitlin, in downtown Valdese for their engagement session!  We photographed some of their session downtown, then rode over to McGalliard Falls.  They are both so laid back.  I love it!  Their wedding is next June, & I can't wait!  Kaitlin, you are going to be one beautiful bride!

Bridals | Kylea

We photographed Kylea's bridals on a cold evening, but you can not tell at all in these pictures!  I told her during our session that after a while she wouldn't feel the cold anymore - I was right, ha!  Kylea is a gorgeous lady anyways, but when I saw her in her beautiful wedding gown I knew she was going to blow her groom, Josh, away!  She is such a sweet and fun girl.  Their wedding was this past Saturday.  It turned out to be such a beautiful and warm day - completely opposite of how we felt during these pictures!  I love how these turned out!
